What we collect
Matrix collects account information (email, name), usage telemetry (session counts, execution metrics), and error logs. In local-first deployments, no data leaves your device unless explicitly enabled. We do not collect the content of your agent conversations, Cortex memory, or credentials.
How we use it
We use collected data to operate and improve the Matrix platform, to diagnose failures, to calculate billing, and to communicate about your account. We do not sell data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Data retention
Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account plus 30 days. Usage telemetry is retained for 90 days. Error logs are retained for 30 days. You may request deletion of all personal data at any time by emailing privacy@matrix.ai.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, port, and delete your personal data. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@matrix.ai.
